I want to Thank all of you for making today a huge home run! The Point Lookout-Lido and Island Park FD football game was better than expected. The game started with the National Anthem, Color Guard, introduction of referee's and teams. The game was played in the mud then at halftime Bobby Hughes played the bagpipes with the color guard. Tommy McDermott told the crowd how important the Burn Center was to us all. The game ended with I.P.F.D. winning. Special thanks to Mike Ornauer for being the MC at the game. I want to thank Harvey Weisenberg for coming down. I want to thank the girls from the PLLFD for selling the raffle tickets. I want to thank Baldwin Ladder 2 for their help and the Baldwin FD for the support. I want to thank the Roosevelt FD for coming down and for their donation. I want to thank the RVCFD for bringing the Heavy Rescue down and for Chief Murray of the RVCFD for getting in the mud bowl and refereeing. Marco and John Gargan can't say thank you enough. Chief Smith of the Baldwin FD thank you.  Thank you to LBFD engine 2344 for stopping by with the rig. I want to thank Karen for the balloons and the girls from baking the cupcakes! I want to thank the IPFD for everything they did. From conditioning the field to opening the firehouse for food.
